R.I.P. T LAVITZ 1956-2010
I am very saddened
by the news of T Lavitz passing.
T was one of my keyboard heroes while I was growing up.
I was very fortunate to have had the chance to study privately
with him in 1985, and become his friend over the years.
He was a very cool guy, and a great player.
My favorite T Lavitz musical moment is on the song
"I'm Freaking Out" on Dregs Of The Earth,
awesome keyboard playing. Rest in peace T.

Jason Bonham, Glenn Hughes, Derek Sherinian
and Joe Bonamassa Form New Super Group BLACK COUNTRY A new
super group has been formed with Jason Bonham, Glenn Hughes, Joe
Bonamassa and Derek Sherinian. They are calling themselves Black
Country, taking their name from the industrial area in England
from which Bonham and Hughes both hail. The band is currently in
the studio with producer Kevin Shirley (Black Crowes, Aerosmith,
Led Zeppelin) cutting tracks for an upcoming album to be
released in late 2010 or early 2011.
